The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office recently donated $10,000 to Joseph House to help provide treatment and care to our veterans who are struggling with addiction.

The gift was announced in conjunction with the unveiling of a commemorative badge in honor of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Hamilton County deputies will begin wearing the badges on September 1.

“We truly appreciate the support of Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey and her team as we promote healthy, sustainable lifestyles to our veterans and help reintegrate them into the community,” said Joseph House Executive Director Alicia Patterson.

Joseph House currently has an intervention program for veterans in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
