Staff Salute: Will Craft

Will Craft, U.S. Army veteran, is a former client and current overnight manager at Joseph House. Learn more about his background and experiences:

Describe your role at Joseph House.
I’m responsible for operations, which includes ensuring the integrity and safety of the facilities while upholding policies and procedures. I also reside at Joseph House in case of any maintenance issues during non-business hours.

When did you join the Joseph House team?
I joined the team in June 2017.

What inspired you to work at Joseph House?
I wanted to work at Joseph House because this facility and the services provided are life changing. I want to help provide fellow veterans the same opportunity that was afforded to me in any way possible.

In your own words, what makes Joseph House successful?
I believe that one of the main factors making this facility successful is the time frame an individual can stay. The program here allows each veteran to reflect on the past and put steps into motion to achieve their goals for the future while learning to effectively manage the disease that burdens them.

What is your favorite memory of working at Joseph House?
I have many favorite memories and most are associated with watching a veteran go through the program, come to terms with what their issues are and move on to a more productive and fulfilling life.

How can people get in touch with you and the Joseph House team?
If you’re a veteran or know a veteran struggling with addiction, please contact us at [email protected] or 513-241-2965.
