What education and/or certifications do you have?
I earned by bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and I am a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CACD).
When did you join the Joseph House team?
I have been the night manager since 2003.
What inspired you to work at a Joseph House?
I have been in recovery since April 1, 2000 and wanted to work at a rehabilitation facility. Joseph House provided the opportunity to help people with addiction.
In your own words, what makes Joseph House successful?
Joseph House doesn’t leave the wounded behind.
What is your favorite part about working at Joseph House?
My favorite thing about working at Joseph House is the veteran being able to return home to his family with hope and courage. My favorite memory is when Colin Powell visited.
Any additional information you would like to share about your career experiences?
I didn’t serve in the armed forces, but having the opportunity to be of service to those who did is a great honor.
