A sense of community and key partnerships are essential to any successful treatment program. Joseph House is located in the Over-the-Rhine (OTR) district of downtown Cincinnati. Since the early nineteenth century, Over-the-Rhine has welcomed people from all walks of life, offering a nurturing neighborhood of social and cultural diversity.
Over-the-Rhine is shaped by its many iconic buildings and institutions, including the Art Academy of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Symphony and Pops Orchestras, Cincinnati Opera, School for Creative and Performing Arts, Ensemble Theatre, Know Theatre and Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. The neighborhood is also home to Music Hall and Memorial Hall, and free seasonal programming in Washington Park.
