A Safe Space to Heal

We celebrate the incredible journey of Ray R., a Navy hero who served during Operation Enduring Freedom – the first phase of the War in Afghanistan and the Global War on Terrorism. Ray endured significant struggles with depression, but today he sees a bright future ahead.

“Joseph House provided me with a safe space and began teaching me how to heal,” he shares. “Through their love and support, I slowly began to believe in myself again. I have regained my confidence and am proud to call myself a United States veteran.”
