Staff Salute: Aaron Cheatham

When did you join the Joseph House team?

What drew you to Joseph House, as opposed to another facility, as a place to work?
I came to Joseph House as a client when I got out of the military. I wanted to give back to both Joseph House and the veteran community.

What has been your favorite memory so far working at Joseph House?
I love seeing clients do better, and want to stay clean. I love to see them intermingle with each other.

In your own words, what makes Joseph House successful?
Commitment. Desire. Passion. Knowledge.

What is your favorite part about working with veterans?
Being a veteran myself, it’s gratifying to work with fellow vets on one common goal.

Any additional information you would like to share about your experiences?
I came through Joseph House in 2003 and have been clean and sober for 15 years. I love to share my knowledge with others to help them achieve what I did. It’s an awesome feeling!
